IGNORING NEGATIVE EMOTION IMPACTS YOUR ABILITY TO FEEL GOOD IN YOUR BODY.
It’s not the other way around.
Though not feeling good can perpetuate your already existing negative emotion.
When you don’t feel good in your body you have reached the point of ignoring your emotional responses. Your emotions being on the front line of awareness of what you’ve been focusing on. So once the discomfort in your body has arrived you’ve been given ample *alerts* that you’re headed for the ditch.
Imagine you’re a car.
You’re focused on the road and it feels good. (FOCUS)
You drift off and your direction begins to change.
You hit the rumble strips on the side of the road alerting you that your direction has changed. (EMOTIONS)
You wake to hear a d feel the rumble but you do nothing. (IGNORING EMOTIONS)
You then find yourself in the ditch banged against a tree. (BODY DISCOMFORT)
So what do you do now?
You’re in the ditch AKA experiencing body pain; body degeneration; body discomfort…
ONE SIMPLE STEP you can do for yourself to redirect and get back on that road of EASE…
Now before I share, I said SIMPLE.
The level in which this simple step is easy or not is up to you. It’s only as easy as doing it and it’s only as hard as not doing it.
So here it is.
THE SIMPLE STEP YOU CAN DO NOW TO SHIFT YOUR BODY DISCOMFORT
Allow yourself the Grace to STOP and FEEL the discomfort.
You can either feel the physical discomfort and/or emotional discomfort. It’s just depends on your level of awareness.
If all you have to grasp is the awareness of what you’re feeling physically in your body. Then STOP and allow yourself to really FEEL and BE WITH the sensations that you experience in your body.
If you are aware of the emotion associated with the physical discomfort in your body. Then STOP FEEL and BE WITH the emotion you are aware of.
If you’d like to discover the emotion that is manifested the physical discomfort you can ask yourself this question: “how does what I feel in my body make me feel?”. Whatever the answer is to that question is the emotion that is connected to the manifestation of physical sensation in your body.
Either way, STOP and FEEL IT.
